as you can tell from the past couple posts, i was just in macau not too long ago
i didn't stay there that long either
just a bit over 2 hours to be exact
landed in macau around 11am on tuesday (3/20), flew back to taiwan around 1:20pm
i ended up being awake for over 35 hours
not fun
the reason for the short stay in macau is because i was playing the role of delivery boy
i had to personally deliver some parts for our factory in china
our engineer for this project came out to macau to meet me, took the parts and rushed off to the factory
why not use a courier like dhl or fedex you are asking?
because there was simply no time
so why was i up for over 35 hours?
because i was out in our factory in taiwan with our crew trying to make good enough parts for china to use
we were there until 5:30am when we finally made enough good parts
as soon as i got them, i went home, packed the stuff, took a shower and rushed off to the airport to try to hop on the earliest possible flight out to macau
i got there at 7:50am
i missed the 6am and the 8am flights
8:55am flight it was
i was some expensive delivery boy too
the flight cost nt$18,000 (approx. us$550)
regularly, flights to macau are under nt$10,000 (approx. under us$310)
if we had used a courier service to deliver the parts, it would probably cost $550 as well... nt$ tho', but it would arrive the next day, and that's not even guaranteed
there was simply no time
when i flew back to taiwan i went back to work instead of going home
it was only 3pm when i got back and if i go home i would definitely fall asleep and wake up in the middle of the night
not fun
by the time i got off work, went home, took care of some errands and went to sleep it was 9:30pm
which makes that a bit over 35 hours since i last slept
not fun

Andres,
It's time to get some rest man!
Macau is a great airport to hang out in. We flew from Macau to Taiwan this time last year. The runway extending out into the water is pretty cool.
yea, i actually like the macau airport a lot because it's so simple. also, it's so small that makes it so easy and fast to get in and out of.
I agree. It's one of the few airports I've been to that's stress free! By the way, a special thanks to you for the link. That was really nice of you.
what kind of parts? i'm also in the factory business (castings).
