So far I'm enjoying it. Let's keep checking in on each other. Feel free to critique my blog as well.
Andres, i like your blog because its about everyday stuff that you do - not just news commentary or bitching about politics - and you are one of the few doing it anymore. sad to say, but most so-called blogs are nothing more than people using free web space to promote their own viewpoint. i use RSS to keep up with your blog. i hope you keep posting.

I'd say just be yourself and keep it the way it is. I like your haiku style. No need to blog everyday -- just as the muse strikes you.
dayngr... thanks. i will keep a track on your blog.
michael... amen to that my man! i was thinking about a topic to write about for this blog. i'm no expert in anything, there seems to be a blog for just about everything, so i'll just write about my life... what's more unique than that. albeit boring at times, it's still unique.
boyd... thanks neighbourino.
Andres, you touched on another point that i'd like to make: most of these bloggers who write about politics aren't political experts either. with the exception of The View from Taiwan, i find that when reading political commentary from other bloggers i kinda go "who cares what you think about it? you're just some working dude like me, so what do you know?" also, i realize that such commentary does no good, because no one takes those bloggers seriously for the same reason. on the other hand, i enjoy reading about the things that people do, their personal experiences. on the topics of personal experience, everyone is an expert.
michael... yes! i complete agree. i really don't like reading many of the political blogs out here. most of them just post and quote daily articles straight from news websites. what's the point? they are simply just repeating what already has blanket coverage by all media outlets from tv (all 50 million news channels in taiwan, every hour on the hour), internet, newpaper and radio. but hey, it's a free country, a free world... they are more than welcome to post whatever they want. i'm sure some folks find our blogs just as pointless as we find theirs.
