Are you planning to move to Canada?
I mean, return?
jalelo... yes, we're planning to visit canada this summer.
i wouldn't want the additional tax liability, personally.
so, is your X-Box borked by the E74 error now? do you have to get it fixed?
mj... it's non-issue for now since she won't be paying taxes unless she moves there for good, which we plan to do in the future but might not necessarily happen. with her canadian citizenship and passport in hand, also makes it easier and cheaper for her to move back there (or usa or australia...) to live and study. plus, with a canadian passport, she can travel to many countries without having to apply for visa, which i guess saves us some money in that regard.
feantir... merci beaucoup. mais parfois elle est très méchant et nous rend dingues. encore, elle est l'amour de ma vie.
oh yeah, mj my xbox works just ok. i just have to reset the console a few times. i guess that's what i get for being a cheap bastard and playing bootleg pirated games instead of the real versions. however, nt$200 for pirated versions vs nt$2000+ for the real deal. can ya blame me for taking the risk???
Andrés,
I'm just curious. Why would you consider moving back to Canada being that Taiwan is such a wonderful place to raise your child? I myself am seriously considering moving back to my home country of Costa Rica, in part escaping the downturn in the economy. Not that CR seems a perfect way out, but at least we'd be closer to family & friends.
jalelo... sure taiwan is a great place, but personally i don't think it's such a good place to raise your kids. plus, most of my friends are in canada so i actually feel more at "home" in canada than i do in taiwan. truth be told, i don't even like living in taiwan all that much. funny thing my dad was just saying we should all move back to costa rica because of the economic downturn, to which i would actually consider. having lived there for many years of my childhood, costa rica holds a special place in my heart. i will forever be part tico. tuanis y pura vida mae!
amazing blog! what about link exchange? let me know via post or email...
cheers and good luck
