Your father appear to be much better with/used to kids that your kids seems to be with grandfathers.
I've never understood the exact rules for slicing birthday cakes. Since you're more Taiwanese, would you perhaps have a better idea?

@Sander... haha. i guess it kinda does look that way in the photos; but the kids play with grandpa everyday, so they are pretty used to him.
well, the birthday person makes the first cut then someone takes over to cut the rest of the cake. truth be told, i'm not too sure what's the meaning behind that. maybe since it's that person's birthday, he/she should not be serving others? i don't know.
The question mark candle was very thoughtful lol :) so cute.
