If we are home on weekends and the weather is nice out, Olivia usually asks me to take her to the Sinjhuang Park, which is practically across the street from home. Well, during one of the weekends when my newphew Ethan was over, Olivia asked me to take them to the sandbox at the park.....

They dig the sandbox.

Dinner at Bon Appetit Restaurante Pizzeria
Dinner at Bon Appetit Restaurante Pizzeria in Zhubei city with our good friends MJ & Hui-Chen.....

It was a nice and cozy place. We arrived a bit earlier so it wasn't packed yet; however, it was good that we had reservations because the place got packed real quick.
The beer that they were selling.

Olivia's 3rd birthday
No, Olivia is not turning 3 now. She turned 3 about half a year ago back in November. In fact, it was November 26th and since it fell on a weekday, it meant that it was a school day for her. So with that, Karen and I took a day off from work then went to Olivia's school with a couple of cakes (to make sure we had enough for all the kids) to celebrate with her and her classmates. I took a bunch of photos but never got around to posting them, so here goes. Better late than never.....

Here's the setup the school did for Olivia and her birthday cakes.

Here's a closer look at the two cakes. We of course got Dora cakes, since that's her favorite cartoon now. The cake on the right has Olivia's English name, while the cake on the left has her Chinese name. Cakes were made by http://juguo.pixnet.net/blog

The star of the moment; birthday-girl Olivia!
